How to use DuckDuckGo to search the web privately on your phone and computer

DuckDuckGo started out as a search engine that emphasized privacy. It was clear that Google was a strong competitor and is still. But they didn’t stop there and started building a web browser. It was built from the ground up to be just as privacy-conscious as the search engine.

There were more than 50 million downloads of DuckDuckGo’s apps and a 55% increase in traffic over a year, says a June 2021 report from Spread Privacy. The search engine and its tools are other things you can add to your digital privacy arsenals, like Apple’s prompt to choose not to be tracked and the Sign in with Apple feature.
