iPhone with less storage is something no one can disagree with. 64GB storage is so less for any phone in this era yet alone iPhone. The new iPhone 13 series starts with 128GB storage. Many people have the latest iPhones but less storage is always a complaint.
While freeing up space on iPhones, people don’t like deleting apps which is understandable. There is no issue with deleting unwanted apps and games but the problem is far more than that. Even after deleting all the extra apps and games, people still face the issue of storage.
For that, there are ways you can manage. And in this article, we are going to tell you exactly that.
Unable Media Backup for iCloud
If your iPhone is full of pictures and videos which you don’t want to delete because of memories, then you can upload them on iCloud. After uploading them on iCloud, you can Optimise iPhone storage.
- Open the Settings app on iPhone.
- Go to the Profile Menu.
- Navigate to iCloud.
- Move to the Photos menu.
- Enable iCloud Photos toggle.
- Then Select Optimise iPhone Storage.
Check that you should have enough storage on iCloud before all these steps. If not, then you can get a subscription for an upgraded iCloud plan.
After doing these steps your media including photos, videos, etc. would be uploaded on iCloud that can be reached at any time.
Google Photos or OneDrive
Even though you are using iPhone, you can still use the cloud storage of Google or Microsoft. You can upload your media photos, videos, etc. on Google Photos or OneDrive which can be downloaded from App Store. Delete photos from the phone after uploading on Cloud.

CHANGE IMAGE FORMAT IN CAMERA
Changing the font size and reducing the size of the files saves storage on an iPhone. For that:-
- Go to the Settings app on iPhone.
- Scroll down and move the Camera.
- Go to Formats.
- Select High Efficiency from the menu.
This process will result in less space when you take pictures from your iPhone and won’t free up any space.
CHANGE VIDEO RESOLUTION
Changing video resolution would also save lots of storage.
- Open the Settings app.
- Go to the Camera menu.
- From the Record Video menu, look for multiple resolutions and the amount of space they take on the iPhone. If you don’t need 4K at 60 fps, you can go to 1080p at 60 fps or 4K at 30 fps.
